To realize the full benefits of your strengths, it is crucial that you focus on developing them completely. Partnering with a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach can be the difference between simply knowing your strengths and truly living a strengths-based life.
This form of coaching works well for anyone who wants to get more insight about themselves.
You will discover how your natural themes can sometimes create conflict. A coach can help you turn them into a productive resolution . You will learn to appreciate the differences and what that person brings to the table, instead of being annoyed by them.
But a strengths coach can help you steer yourself into roles or projects that will allow you to shine.
The first step is awareness, or understanding what your specific themes are; the second is application, or how to intentionally apply your theme in real settings.
I will walk you through each of your top themes and explain them more thoroughly. Expect this session to take about an hour and a half. After that, the direction of subsequent sessions will depend on what you’re trying to accomplish. You might identify specific goals—like learning to get along with coworkers or supervisor and start devising a plan with your coach on how to apply your talents to reach them.
This also is helpful in your personal life. Coaching can crossover to relationships, parenting and more.
